Ronda S. Fosterling

Ronda S.  Fosterling, age 67 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, as a result of a tragic accident at her home. Ronda was born September 10, 1958, in Boscobel, daughter of the late Neil and Dorothy (Clark) Ward. She married John Fosterling on November 30, 1985, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA, and they were blessed with 40 years together. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren watching them grow and attending their sporting events. She would go camping every weekend enjoying the lake and riding in the pontoon boat. Ronda loved her dog Sadie and taking her on golfcart rides. She was a co-owner of Classic Reruns which is a staple in the community. Ronda has worked as an accountant her entire life and supported her son’s businesses including MBC Brothers Construction and MBC Brothers Properties.

She is survived by her husband John Fosterling of Boscobel, children Chad (Linsie) Groom of Woodman (Gabriel, MyKenzie, Adayah & Aadyn), Brent (Shannon) Groom of Mt. Hope (Orion, Tagan, Tristen & Livian), Lisa Boyette of Deltona, Fl., and Jason Fosterling of Deltona Fl (6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren). Ronda is further survived by her sisters Corrine (Steve) Welsh of Mt. Horeb, Sharron Dempsey of Boscobel, Sandy Tracy of Lancaster, and Deb (Bill) Wiest of Boscobel; along with her brother Steve (Kathy) Ward of Tampa, Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Pat Wagner.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 A..M at the Kendall Funeral Home, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Pastor Lance Wetter officiating. Friends may call on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Kendall Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
